Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy is an American actor from the United States. She was born on June 13th in 1962. Sheedy made her debut as an actor in Bad Boys in 1983. Since then, she's performed in WarGames from 1985. She also appeared in The Breakfast Club in 1986, and Short Circuit in 1986. For her performance of Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998) Sheedy received an Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Leading Actress. Ally Sheedy was born in the United States and is both an actress as well as an writer. Her career in film began in the early 1980s when she starred as a character actress for the crime-drama film, Bad Boys. Rick Rosenthal directed the movie that also featured a number of prominent actors Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. In 1985, following her success on screen she starred as a character in The Breakfast Club - a comedy/drama. John Hughes directed one of best films aimed at high schools. Even though the budget was $1 million, the film's earnings surpassed the mark of $50 million. In the meantime she started appearing on TV in various shows such as CBS Schoolbreak. It was her first appearance on television. The show was targeted at teens which began in April of 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues are other TV shows where she was a part of. Recent appearances of Sheedy are Little Sister as well as X-Men Apocalypse, a movie featuring a hero in which she is a character. Sheedy is known for her incredible performances. Sheedy has been awarded numerous times, including an MTV Movie Award for Silver Bucket of Excellence Award in 2005.
